The 2022 Chablis Les Clos Clos des Hospices is half fermented in barrel
and half in tank before being transferred into the latter for the last six
months. Its well-defined bouquet is more precise than the regular
cuvée, with oyster shell-infused citrus fruit, apple blossom, and hints of
grilled walnut coming through with time in the glass. The palate is very
well-balanced and precise but stricter than the regular cuvée. Very
saline towards the finish, with great depth, this is another very
impressive wine from what might be Chablis's most underestimated
producer
